CHART

Colleagues,

Our next meeting will be the Annual General Meeting, which will be held Thursday 1 May 2008 commencing at 7.30pm at the usual venue of the Rotherham Town Cricket Club on Clifton Lane, Rotherham. There are vacancies for an Assistant Secretary and Committee Member. So with that in mind if you feel you have what it takes to fill one of these vacancies and represent your friends and colleagues please make it known to Chairman Steven Blincow or any Committee Member or put yourself forward on the night and you may be able to play a fuller part in Association next season.

2008 / 2009 Subscriptions – SUBSCRIPTIONS WERE DUE ON 1 APRIL SO PLEASE RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP OR IF NOT A MEMBER PREVIOUSLY JOIN THE ASSOCIATION WITHOUT DELAY to ensure you enjoy the full benefits of RA membership, especially insurance cover. That way you’ll be fully covered for any matches you may officiate in from now on. Adult Subscription is only £20, the cost of a match fee. As this is the Centenary Year of the RA a specially commissioned coin will be issued to every RA member during 2008 / 2009.

Presentations Evening – our annual Presentations Evening will be held on Friday 13 June 2008 at the usual venue of the Rotherham Rugby Club on Clifton Lane, Rotherham. The evening will follow the previously successful format of presentations to members, race night and a buffet so it promises once again to be great night out. Ticket price is only £8.00. Don’t miss it! As you know one of the presentations is the coveted Referee of the Season Award chosen by you the members of our Association. Voting is now open so please forward your vote to Philip Clough by either email philipclough@btinternet.com or telephone 01709 815714 or see Philip at the AGM.
